75-MINUTE PRIVATE POTTERY WHEEL LESSON
FOR ONE OR TWO STUDENTS | MINIMUM AGE: 8
$95 (one student), $175 (two students*)
Whether it’s your first time ever working on a wheel or you’ve already dabbled in it a bit and you’re itching to learn more, private lessons provide a great opportunity to work 1:1 with one of our friendly and knowledgeable clay instructors at a pace that’s just right for you. Start off with a 75-minute introductory lesson that covers the basics of throwing (center, open, pull, form), then add a series of follow-up, customized lessons to dive deeper into the things that you’re most interested in—creating a variety of form types, exploring surface designs, experimenting with glazes…the possibilities are endless!
*The multi-student pricing is adjusted manually on our end once we receive your registration and before we process payment.
3-WEEK INTRO POTTERY WHEEL WORKSHOPS
AGES 8-13
$125 per 3-week group workshop
Designed with the intention of preparing students to work autonomously on the wheel, these 3-week introductory workshops cover the basics--managing clay, operating and caring for the equipment, and the steps involved in throwing on the pottery wheel. Once completed (and with instructor permission), students may then RESERVE A POTTERY WHEEL (see available days/times). Throughout their reserved time, they'll work autonomously on the wheel at their own pace. An instructor will be nearby to assist as needed, but the time spent on the wheel is self-directed.
Note: Due to limited availability and cost of operation, wheel time is not eligible for any type of discount. No makeups for missed days of this workshop.
POTTERY WHEEL RESERVATIONS
AGES 8-18
$35 per 60-minute reservation
Includes up to one pound of low-fire clay and firing of one item.
Additional clay (2 lbs - $10) and firing services (6"x6"x6" item - $5) available.
Prerequisite: Completion of Intro Pottery Wheel workshop and instructor permission.
The student will work autonomously on the wheel at their own pace. An instructor will be nearby to assist as needed, but the time spent on the wheel is self-directed. If the student is reserving wheel time during a class in which they are already enrolled, their paid tuition will be applied toward the wheel reservation fee.
Note: Due to limited availability and cost of operation, wheel time is not eligible for any type of discount. A missed reservation is not eligible for makeup.
CANCELLATION POLICY

- Up to 14 days prior to the workshop start date to receive a refund, less 10% admin fee.
- Up to 7 days prior to the workshop start date to receive a 50% refund (remainder of payment will be held as a credit on your account, expires 90 days from date of cancellation request).
Credit will not be provided and 100% of payment will be forfeited for a drop within seven days of the lesson date.
