POTTERY WHEEL WORKSHOPS
AGES 8-13 | AGES 12-19
These 3-week introductory workshops cover the basics of managing clay, operating and caring for the equipment, and the steps involved in throwing on the pottery wheel. Once completed (and with instructor permission), students may then RESERVE A POTTERY WHEEL during one of our regularly scheduled Ceramics classes, during which time they'll work autonomously on the pottery wheel at their own pace. An instructor will be nearby to assist as needed, but the time spent on the wheel is self-directed.
Note: Due to limited availability and cost of operation, wheel time is not eligible for any type of discount. No makeups for missed days of this workshop.

POTTERY WHEEL RESERVATIONS
AGES 8-13 | AGES 12-19
Weekly reserved time on a pottery wheel during one of our regularly scheduled Ceramics classes. The student will work autonomously on the wheel at their own pace. An instructor will be nearby to assist as needed, but the time spent on the wheel is self-directed.
Prerequisite: Completion of Intro Pottery Wheel workshop and instructor permission
- $28 per week, invoiced monthly
- $50 deposit required to confirm reservation
Includes up to one pound of low-fire clay and firing of one item per month.
Additional clay (2 lbs - $10) and firing services (6"x6"x6" item - $5) available.
Note: Due to limited availability and cost of operation, wheel time is not eligible for any type of discount. One makeup per month may be accommodated for an absence submitted in advance. A "no show" is not eligible for makeup.
