Working in many types of drawing media, students will learn and develop a variety of fundamental, age-appropriate drawing processes to enable them to accurately draw what they see as well as develop their unique style over time. Through a series of step-by-step lessons, they’ll build their rendering skills and creative self-confidence. Subjects for lessons are selected to fit the personal interests of each class in order to keep projects fun and engaging for all ages and skill levels.

In our youngest classes, students explore concepts and build new skills while experimenting with a wide variety of materials. They learn about art elements and design principles as they explore their limitless imaginations. Lessons and projects emphasize the PROCESS of art-making, stimulate creativity, and develop fine motor skills.
