Working in many types of drawing media, students will learn and develop a variety of fundamental, age-appropriate drawing processes to enable them to accurately draw what they see as well as develop their unique style over time. Through a series of step-by-step lessons, they’ll build their rendering skills and creative self-confidence. Students explore art concepts and build new skills while experimenting with a wide variety of materials. They learn about art elements and design principles as they explore their limitless imaginations. Students will have fun developing and refining their painting skills as they learn about the elements of visual art through applied design principles. Experimenting with a variety of painting materials, they’ll explore realism, impressionism, fauvism, surrealism, abstract expressionism and more. Tuition: $28/wk (billed monthly)

This highly tactile class is all about thinking three-dimensionally with a strong emphasis on form. Working in a variety of sculpting mediums, students will learn about balance, symmetry, space, texture, color, and more! Each project provides them with an opportunity to express their individuality and unique approach to problem-solving.
